Review: Ace of Base – It’s a Beautiful Life (Pop) Drew Wilson | June 28, 2017 This review covers the pop track Ace of Base – It’s a beautiful Life. This track was released in 1995 on the album the Bridge. A distinctive feature of this track is the euro-pop four to the floor style. The way this style is handled helped give this track some energy. The dance style piano also added a nice musical backing to the overall track. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. The vocals was a fairly strong point in the track. The non-lyrical portion of the track gave it a bit of a distinctive sound. I’m not entirely sure about the church choir backing, though. The lyrics weren’t bad. They had that cheer up attitude. The downside is that the lyrics are a bit on the repetitive side. Overall, this wasn’t a bad track. While there was some positive elements in this track such as the euro-beat sound, the downside is that the lyrics can be a bit repetitive and the church choir backing vocals is a bit iffy. A decent track all around, though. Score 7/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
