Review: 7 Skies – Caffeine (Original Mix) (Trance)

This review covers the progressive trance track 7 Skies – Caffeine (Original Mix).

This track was released in 2010 along with a remix.

A major feature of this track is the slow chopped vocals. The soft vocals really give this track a relaxed and pleasant sound.

The main melody helps give this track an uplifting sound. The more or less plucked nature is a nice, but gentle addition to the track.

The synth pads and string gives the track a rather silky sound. Because of this, the track becomes more soothing.

With this are the piano elements. They don’t appear for very long, but they do add a nice texture to the overall sound.

while there is a lot that makes this track a very chilled listening experience, there is not a whole lot that jumps out at me. One of the things I like to look for in a track is if there is anything here that helps make this track stand out. Unfortunately, there really isn’t anything in this track that does this. As a result, it’s hard to say that this track is unique in any way.

Still, you can do a whole lot worse than this track. If you are looking for a laid back relaxed track, this track works quite well. It has nice slow chopped vocals. The string synth and pads makes the track almost silky smooth. The melody is nicely uplifting. The piano elements give the track some texture. While this track doesn’t jump out at me as anything amazingly special, it was still worth a listen. A pretty good track all around.

7/10
