Review: 3rd Prototype & Lex Dave – Time (feat. Yohamna Solange) (House)

This review covers the progressive house track 3rd Prototype & Lex Dave – Time (feat. Yohamna Solange).

This track was released in 2015 online for free.

One of the prominent elements in this track was the vocals. Some of it was lightly vocoded while some of it was interestingly chopped up. Overall, it gave a great positive vibe and theme throughout the track.

The melody that backs this track worked incredibly well. The way the melody traded prominence with the vocals throughout the track was very well done.

One minor complaint I have with this track is that the sidechained elements went a little too deep. As a result, the track has a mildly unpleasant pumping going on.

In spite of this, I thought this track sounded pretty good. It is definitely worth listening to. A very good track all around.
