Protests Erupt Across US, Rest of World to Disapprove of Trump

The Trump insanity is proving to be a bit much for people as protests break out across the globe.

When Trump seized power in the US, he was handed a functioning economy and a rising stock market as well. In seemingly record breaking time, he was burning it all into the ground. There were things like massive stock market crashes, the rising risk of recession, the ensuing massive layoffs all over the place, the crackdown on civil rights, the hollowing out of all government infrastructure and all the national security risks that came with it, and even the crackdown on the legal system were among the lowlights of this only months long presidency.

Not only is America quickly spiralling into a failed state, but the global economy is being put into complete turmoil and chaos as other countries grapple with the new reality that America simply cannot be trusted with anything at all. Despite it all, Trump responded to the chaos he has unleashed and described the destruction of global economic prosperity as “going very well“. So, Trump is well and truly proud of his global economic destruction tour.

Unsurprisingly, people have a very different take on burning it all down to the ground. Frustrations have begun boiling over from the Trump insanity. This as protests erupted across the US in a “hands off” protest. From the Associated Press:

Opponents of President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk rallied across the U.S. on Saturday to protest the administration’s actions on government downsizing, the economy, human rights and other issues.

More than 1,200 “Hands Off!” demonstrations were planned by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and elections activists. The protest sites included the National Mall in Washington, D.C., state capitols and other locations in all 50 states.

It didn’t take long for the national movement to go global as protests also emerged in other countries as well. From the CBC:

Rallies were also held in countries around the world, including the U.K., Portugal, Germany and India.

At the very least, people aren’t taking the destruction of their daily lives lying down. Hopefully, the movement against Trump continues to get bigger because people really do need to be vocal about what is happening. While it’s going to take a long time to undo all the damage cause by the Trump presidency, protesting against the presidency is at least a good start. After all, it shows that people don’t actually approve of what he is doing in the first place.
