The seventh episode of the Freezenet official podcast for May of 2019, “Piracy is Killing the Lawmaking Industry!” is now on Patreon.

This months title is inspired by the guy that got sued for copyright infringement after he posted a copy of the law online for free. That is still a story that gets our heads shaking over how outrageous the lawsuit is in the first place.

Of course, we’ve covered a bunch of other stories including an update on Julian Assange’s 50 week prison sentence. There is also news about the Instagram data leak, the International Press Freedom Index, and many lawsuits related to data breaches to name a few.
