This is the 36th instalment of our first impression video series. For this month’s Playstation 3 game, we are playing Watch_Dogs for the first time.

Welcome to the 36th instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Playstation 3 game, Watch_Dogs for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

For those who are trying to play the Playstation 3 version, the game will probably not work the first time. Essentially, it hangs after it initially loads. In order to make it work, after inserting the disc, decline to update the game. After that, install the game. Start a new game to make sure that this game works. Once you confirm that the game is working, exit the game, then restart the game. When it prompts you to update, accept the update so it can update to the latest version. This will allow you to play the most up to date version of the game properly. There is something about this game updating on install that blocks the initial menu from loading (the animation sequence actually plays behind the menu, but the menu won’t appear, leaving you with just an animation sequence and nothing else). This is the first time I’ve encountered this and decided to pass this tip along to those who wish to replicate this experience.

Have you heard of this game? Are you like me and never actually played it or did you actually play this one? For those who played this one, did you enjoy it? For those who haven’t played this game, would you be interested in trying this game out? Let us know in the comments below!

This video is part of our first impression video series. Below is a list of previously made first impression video’s we’ve made in the past:
