Welcome to the 201st instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Playstation 4 game, Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

One of the more “modern” games I was told I had to play was Cyberpunk 2077. Well, I’m playing it. Still, one of the things I noticed right away (and I forgot to mention it in the video) was just how absolutely massive this game was in terms of disk space. The install said it was just over 40GB. The cover said that this game was 70GB.

It turns out, neither were accurate.

In reality, I had to clear up 150GB to make room for both the install and update file. I really had to clear out a bunch of games to make room for this one game which was a real pain, but I eventually got there. I vaguely recall others being annoyed by this problem and it wasn’t until after fighting with my console for a whole weekend before I remembered that. Well, I guess I can add my name to the list people annoyed by how absolutely massive this install was.

At any rate, I’m finally in this game and I picked the Nomad start. So, this is what the game looks like when you start with that “class”. With what little I was able to get out of this video, I could tell that this definitely had an open world concept. While I didn’t exactly get into the more action orientated aspects of the game before the 10 minutes were up, I’m aware that there is plenty of different features to be had in the game, so I have a whole lot more to look forward to here.

With that said, I wanted to hear from you. For those who have played this game, what did you think? Was this a really good game or did you think this title left a lot to be desired?

I also heard that your experience varies between when it first launched and after the game received several updates. So, for those who have experienced both, was time kind to this title and did you think the developers fixed the issues it had on launch or did you think it wasn’t enough?

This video is part of our first impression video series. Below is a list of 50 of the previously made first impression video’s we’ve made in the past:
