Did Filesharing News Site ZeroPaid Quietly Shut Down in 2018? Drew Wilson | February 1, 2019 Long time file-sharing news website ZeroPaid has been down for an extended period of time now. It’s now a wonder if it’s gone for good this time. Things have gotten quieter on ZeroPaid in the last 5 years. By 2017, the forums vanished from the site, never to be seen again. This left just the news section which carried with it a long history of news reporting. While news writing mostly dropped out starting in 2013, the site stayed online for the better part of four years. In May of 2017, things began looking grim for the future of the site when it suddenly went offline. After 37 days of worry, the site finally came back online. This, of course, suggested that the site is still alive at the very least. Now, we are beginning to see another extended period of downtime. We first saw the downtime on December 25th last year. Since things can happen, we waited two days to see if it was a temporary thing. Two days later, I sent out a Tweet to both the admin and the official ZeroPaid account, pointing out the site is down. In this case, the site is unable to connect to the database. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard anything back. Now, we are on day 38 of the downtime (long than the last period). Now, we are left asking if ZeroPaid is going to come back this time. It’s happened before, but the extended downtime is no doubt worrying to the sites biggest fans. We’ll be sure to update you if we hear anything more about this situation. Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
